Wash Sale Rule question?
hi, guys just a off topic question, I haven’t traded in a long while, Wash Sale Rule question ? simply, you can trade the same stock many times, if you made money, but if you lose even a dollar, you cant trade that stock for 30 days after ? because that loss was claimed. is that correct? Iam just setting up trade log software ,that what stop me from heavy trading, the dreaded tax time.
Is the program "Teach Me How to Trade " a scam?
I went to a seminar last week and I am a little wary about this. The guy spent the entire time building up value to take a three day course for 9 and to purchase software that is .99 per month. He also said that there are more courses to take. Do people actually make money from stocks with this program? I believe that they had some plants in the audience to get people to sign up. Is this the real deal or are they just trying to make money from people taking classes. I give the guy credit, he at least admitted that they make their money off of the other courses after you take the three day course.

What do you think about daytrading?
I’m 24 and in college for engineering. I’m very good a math and the charts and technical analysis comes very very easy to me. I have been using www.freestockcharts.com to paper trade.
Although I am good with charts, I feel too confident with everyone saying that it is so risky and anyone can loose it all.
I got interested about 2 or 3 months ago. I read a couple books and started practicing. In the past 2-3 weeks I’ve profited an avg of 2.7% profit daily over 6 days. (4, 5, 4.6, 0, 1.3, 1.3) There were winning and loosing trades but the losers were mostly small, about 10-15 trades each day. (With enough capitol that could yield a lot of money.
I am yet to experience if the actual market is more difficult than on paper. (I know i have to be even more careful) but the trading software, and ask/bid prices are unfamiliar territory to me.
How do you think i’m doing since i knew nothing about the stock market charts before 09′?
How are my profits so far?
What advice do you have that will make me learn faster?
I’ve been estimating profits from a 000 investment in each stock I purchase. Will it be hard to sell 000 of an avg stock before it starts to drop?
Trading FX;?
To one of my earlier questions, some people said I could trade in FX and make money from the movement of exchange rates (I was invited to visit 4xmoneytrain, 4xgenie, etc websites).
The presentations made the concepts clear. I’m based in India. I don’t know how to go about these exactly! Who shd I contact? where’ll I find a FX broker / FX Broker software using which I can place my deals?
If there’s someone who’s using this method to earn money, I’d appreciate some personal advise! I guess 2 trillion USD turnover a day has enough for all of us individuals to thrive on!
